Projects
Empowering children globally.
Edu Eat Scheme
A school nutrition program designed to provide daily meals to malnourished basic school pupils in schools whose education has been impeded by poor nutrition. This scheme targets SDGs 2 and 3, seeking to ensure the good health and well-being of children in poor and vulnerable communities. Through this program, RARF has reached children in Aiyetoro Anglican Community School and is still counting. We intend to tackle the detrimental effects of poor nutrition on the educational development of children one school at a time.
Juvenile Correctional Center Impact Project
Children within correctional centres face significant challenges, including limited access to quality education and vocational training. Upon release, many struggle to find stable employment, increasing the risk of recidivism. This proposal seeks to address this critical issue by promoting decent work and economic growth as outlined in United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 8 (SDG 8). This comprehensive program is aimed at providing decent work and economic growth opportunities for children within correctional centres. Our objective is to empower these young individuals with skills, resources, and support to break the cycle of reoffending, foster rehabilitation, and enable their successful reintegration into society.
Empower Earn
This is an empowerment initiative designed to equip parents of the Edu Eat Scheme and other low-income or vulnerable individuals with technical skills that can be monetized, while also providing them with financial education. The major objective is Transforming Parents into Purposeful Entrepreneurs. Many mothers in underserved communities lack financial independence, limited access to entrepreneurial training or business capital, and no structured path from learning to livelihood. Empower Earn is a structured program designed to teach financial and business literacy, offer mompreneur certification, and provide post-training support and startup resources. Our objectives are to build sustainable income sources for parents, foster community-led entrepreneurship, and reduce poverty and dependency.
Mother and Child Health Outreach
Maternal and neonatal health outcomes in underserved communities are significantly impacted by limited access to quality healthcare services. This challenge is further compounded by high illiteracy rates, which often result in marginalised individuals receiving substandard care in medical facilities. Recognising these pressing needs, the Raise and Reform Foundation is committed to bridging this gap by delivering essential healthcare services and educational resources directly to the homes of single mothers and their children in these vulnerable communities. To achieve this, the foundation implements targeted initiatives that prioritise timely and effective prenatal and postnatal education and care, aiming to improve health outcomes for mothers and their children. Additionally, the foundation conducts health education sessions that are tailored to the community's health literacy levels while respecting cultural, religious, and local practices. Through these efforts, mothers are empowered with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed health decisions, ultimately fostering healthier, more resilient families.
